Search, pause and copy in Task and Pod logs, find and copy inside file previews, and create, rename and delete workspaces from the SDK and CLI.
Major features
Section titled “Major features”Search, pause and copy in logs
Section titled “Search, pause and copy in logs”Task logs and a Pod’s Log tab, including its full view, now share the same viewer.
- Search. Find text in the log. Search starts at the latest match, and Enter moves back through older ones.
- Pause. Stop the view from moving while the log keeps coming in. When you resume, the log tells you how many lines didn’t fit while it was paused.
- Drag to copy. Dragging over text pauses the log, and Ctrl+C or Cmd+C copies your selection. Clear the selection and the log resumes.
- Search output files. A task’s Output files list can be searched by path, with Expand and Collapse for folders. Download takes only the files you can see.
Find and copy inside file previews
Section titled “Find and copy inside file previews”Text, JSON and CSV previews in Assets and in task outputs now have Copy and Search.
- Search. Press Ctrl+F or Cmd+F to find text, with match case, regular expressions and highlighted matches. If only the start of a file is loaded, Search full file loads the rest. In a CSV, search covers the rows shown in the table.
- Copy. Copies your selection if you have one. Otherwise it copies the whole file, up to about 10 MiB, or the first part of a larger one. A label in the header says which you got.
Workspaces in the SDK, CLI and MCP server 1.6.0
Section titled “Workspaces in the SDK, CLI and MCP server 1.6.0”You can now create, rename and delete workspaces with an API key, from code, the command line or an AI agent. Upgrade the SDK and CLI with pip install -U meshive. The hosted MCP server already runs 1.6.0.
- Create.
create_workspaceandmeshive workspace-createcreate an empty workspace, and--waitwaits until it is ready to use. - Rename.
update_workspaceandmeshive workspace-updatechange the name. The ID stays the same, so anything using it keeps working. - Delete an empty workspace.
delete_workspaceandmeshive workspace-deletedelete a workspace that holds nothing. If anything is left in it, the delete is refused and the response lists what remains.--checkshows that list without deleting. - From an AI agent. The MCP tools
create_workspace,update_workspaceanddelete_workspacedo the same. Like other tools that create or delete, they show a preview first and change nothing until you agree.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- Your terminal login stays out of the address bar. The web terminal now opens on a clean address and gets its login from the console, so the login no longer appears in the address bar or your browser history. If you see Open this terminal from the console, refresh the console and press Connect again.
meshive sshandmeshive storage-connectno longer print a browser terminal link, and still print the ssh command and one-time password. - Name tasks how you like. Task names can now use capitals, spaces and non-English characters, up to 63 characters.
- Tasks show Stopping. After you press Stop, a task shows Stopping right away, or Cancelling while its inputs are downloading, instead of Running until it has ended.
- Live utilization on CPU tasks. The task page now shows CPU and RAM use for CPU tasks, as it does GPU and VRAM use for GPU tasks.
- Task lists update on their own. A task submitted from the API, SDK or CLI now appears without a refresh, even if the list had no running tasks.
- Deleting a workspace warns about its assets. The confirmation says how many assets will be deleted with the workspace, and Delete stays off until you tick the box.
- A simpler file picker. ComfyUI hints now appear only on ComfyUI templates, and a file going to the default input folder gets one notice instead of several. The path it shows is the path the file will really have.
Policy changes
Section titled “Policy changes”These apply to custom models from today. Official models don’t change.
- Gated and private repos need your own Hugging Face token. Your deployment downloads the weights with the token you registered, or anonymously for a public repo. Registering or detecting a repo now tells you when it needs a token, or when your token can’t read it. If a registered model can’t download, register the same repo again with a token, which replaces the stored one. Read more →
- Engine arguments come from a short list. Anything outside it, including
trust-remote-code, is refused at registration, and repos must be written asorg/model. Models already registered aren’t affected. Read more →
- Download all on a task. It now saves one zip with your folders kept. Browsers treated the old way as pop-ups, so you could get only the first few files. Very large outputs open a list of links.
- No more empty zips. If your own bucket blocks downloads from the console, you now get a list of links instead of an empty zip. Long downloads also get fresh links when the old ones expire, and zip names keep non-English characters.
- Project names with
coding:. A project named something likevibe coding: demofailed before your code ran. It now runs normally. - Asset sources. The Source column in Assets now shows on every row, so an empty cell means there’s no source.
- File picker. The extra checkbox on the right of each row is gone, and the mouse wheel and touch scrolling work again when the picker opens over Attach input assets.
- Large file previews. Typing in the search box no longer freezes the page on big files.
- Preview keyboard. While you search a preview, the arrow keys no longer switch files, and Esc closes the search before the preview.
- New workspaces no longer flash as terminated while they are being created.
