Fairer host downtime accounting, multi-GPU stability improvements, and a batch of billing and security fixes.
Policy changes
Section titled “Policy changes”- Paused the $10 free sign-up credit promotion.
- Changed how remaining resources are handled once a workspace’s credit balance is depleted.
- Host downtime now only accrues while there are active paying clients on the machine, making the policy fairer to hosts.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- Improved multi-GPU pod stability by automatically configuring shared-memory settings, preventing a common class of multi-GPU training crashes.
- Added a fallback path so unresponsive network storage no longer blocks pod operations.
- Simplified email verification to a single step, and fixed social-login users being shown password-setup options they don’t need.
- Fixed a billing bug where restarting a resource that had been in an error, waiting, or stopped state could trigger a large backdated charge.
- Fixed resources with negative availability incorrectly appearing rentable.
- Normalized account email matching so sign-up credit isn’t duplicated or missed for accounts that differ only in letter case.
- Hardened custom template and pod creation against invalid mount paths and unsafe input.
